Delete your LEGITTAP account
During the beta, account deletion is processed by a verified support request. The request covers your LEGITTAP authentication account and associated application data.
Request deletion
- Email kenneth@knowkenneth.com from the email address used for your LEGITTAP account.
- Use the subject Delete my LEGITTAP account.
- State that you want the account and associated LEGITTAP application data deleted.
- If the request cannot be reliably matched to the account, beta support may ask you to complete a reasonable verification step before deletion.
What deletion covers
Once the verified account is deleted from LEGITTAP’s authentication system, application records tied to that user are designed to be removed through database relationships. This includes the profile and associated scan records, scan results, analysis signals, and related application records.
Raw image evidence
Raw screenshot/image evidence is already designed for short retention: successful analysis removes the uploaded evidence, terminal failures attempt to purge it, and abandoned uploads expire after 24 hours and are removed by scheduled cleanup.
What may remain outside LEGITTAP
Deletion of the LEGITTAP account does not necessarily delete records independently maintained by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, OpenAI, Google Web Risk, Supabase, payment processors, or other providers under their own legal obligations and retention policies. Store purchase history and financial records may be controlled by the applicable platform.
Timing and legal exceptions
Verified beta deletion requests will be processed as soon as reasonably practicable. Limited records may be retained when required by law, needed to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or document security events, but only to the extent necessary for that purpose.
